Major Quests are the big bads. These are the Quests that involve grand scale wars between countries, birth apocalypses, give way to tyrant Kings, obliterate species, defy the laws of the universe, and pretty much anything else that is mind blowing and intense. These Quests will affect the entire site and will alter the course of history based on their outcome. Their impact everything and everyone environmentally, socially, and more often than not, physically.
These Quests take a long time to complete, and are usually broken up into smaller quests in order to get the different parts completed in a much more compact amount of time. Because of this, it should not be that surprising when a simple and maybe obsolete quest you have completed turns out to be something very important.

Quests are large, long stories featuring a series of adventures, puzzles, challenges, and characters that the Quester will meet. Only a certain amount of people will be allowed to perform each quest due to the way it is designed and what is needed in order to complete it.
Quests will usually start out with a specific goal in mind, such as : slay the dragon and save he princess. But from there, Quests can expand in any way, shape, or form the Questmaster or Questbuiler chooses. Quests will have a large impact on the certain area rather than the whole site, but, quests may also come together to create a Major Quest in the future.
Quests cannot be repeated twice, not even by different people. However, certain quests may be adjusted so that they have the same plot and general progression, but are not entirely the same so that they can be reused.

Side Quests are continuing mini-stories or mini-arcs that can be wrapped up after or during the Quest. These Side Quests will pertain to a certain Quest and will allow the players to continue engaging with the characters of that quest or explore new things within that quest that they were curious about.
Side Quests will mostly include story arcs pertaining to individual characters within the Quest that the roleplayer meets. The roleplayer can begin these Side Quests at any time, based on hints the character will drop or even direct approach of the roleplayer's character asking for help or telling them of new adventures. At the end of every Quest, the roleplayer does have the option of going straight to the Questmaster and asking for available Side Quests. The roleplayer can then have their character go up to the designated area or backtrack to the designated area and begin the Side Quests. Some Questmasters may not have Side Quests planned, but 9 times out of 10, there will be Side Quests available.

Mini Quests are just there for the purpose of keeping you entertained and giving you a chance to have your character develop and hone their skills. Mini-quests will include things like "find my lost dog" or maybe "help my grandma get her medicine". Just little things to get you going in the world, exploring and fighting and doing petty things while the big challenges are being made. But beware! Certain mini quests may lead up to big, scary quests.
Mini Quests may also appear as Side Quests to a bigger Quest. These will have the same appearance as silly tasks that can be completed during the Side Quest or Quest.
